Words by True Parents at Participants of a Top Gun seminar and HJ Youth Camp

Life on earth is important. While I’m still on earth, Heavenly Parent is eagerly looking forward to when the fulfillment of the Heavenly Parent’s dream, humanity’s hope and True Parents’ hope is realized.
Do you understand? [Yes] That’s why I’m calling you my hope.
Thus, if you sleep less and you give your all and you manage to shorten those twenty years to ten years, it will bring immense glory to God and will also be a blessing for and give hope to humanity.
While God’s only begotten daughter, True Mother, is still on earth, will you become the ones who usher in the day when we are able to sing of God’s glory? [Yes] Truly? [Yes] You must become the best in all areas. Will you do that? Thank you. [Applause] All right! You guys are the best. I’m proud of you. I love you all. I love you.

Youth Camp Reflections

South Korea / 18 / Female

Summer 2018

During the YOUTH CAMP training, I was able to feel True Mother’s love for us. I felt this, so I practiced and practiced and practiced and practiced, not just for the sake of being musical, but because I thought about how happy True Mother would be to see us perform and offered my heart in prayer. While practicing, we all had a lot of external difficulties, but we practiced while remembering True Parents’ joy and the smile on Mother’s face, so we enjoyed practicing, and at the end of every day, we were so grateful.

I was so grateful and happy that I was able to meet all of my good sisters, brothers, younger siblings, and friends who were also practicing for the stage with me. I vowed to be a true child who knows True Parents’ hearts and can fulfill their will and make their dreams come true.

Twenty-one days, short if you want to call it that, long if you want to call it that, but I’m so grateful for every day, and I’m so grateful for True Parents’ love, and I love them.

Winter 2019

Preparing for the musical has been a difficult journey, with some conflict both personally and as a community. Misunderstandings arose because we didn’t understand each other, but we were able to become one again because we knew how Heavenly Parent and True Parents felt. When we stood on stage after 38 days of hard practice, we were so grateful to be able to offer all of our hard work to True Mother, and the friends we’ve made along the way were priceless. Through Youth Camp, I was able to grow both internally and externally, and embrace the culture in my heart.

Summer 2018

I attended YouthCamp because I wanted to grow mentally this time. On the day of the performance, after 21 days of hard work and practice, I couldn’t stop crying. “I will plant love in this world” was the hardest song to memorize, but when we sang it, I could see True Mother wiping away her tears as she listened, which touched my heart and made me cry too.

Also, when I did the dedication service, I did it with the mindset of “I will give my all to True Parents.” In that scene, True Mother appeared, and I was naturally overwhelmed with gratitude. Also, when True Father’s honor descended and we worshipped him, we were deeply committed to living for True Parents.
During this time, I was thrilled, thrilled, thrilled. Thank you, True Parents. We love you.

Summer 2018

My dream is to contribute to the Will through dance, and to this end I have been learning dance for 15 years, and I attended the Youth Camp because I wanted to show my filial piety to True Parents once again. At the Youth Camp, I was assigned the role of teaching the trainees as a team leader for one of the dances. I spent more time teaching than I thought I would, but it was a fulfilling environment for me to grow as a leader, and through teaching, my skills grew as well. It was difficult at first because we couldn’t communicate well because I don’t speak Korean, but we practiced while helping each other. I was very moved by the way the brothers and sisters practiced while encouraging each other to be strong despite the difficult schedule. The relationships I made here are precious to me. Also, I was able to feel True Mother’s feelings and sadness through the dances and songs during this time.

I would like to learn more about the meaning of Hyojeong through Hyojeong Cultural Arts. I am deeply grateful to True Parents for giving me the opportunity to grow during these 21 days.
